It is an enduring tradition to take time to pause, turn around to look at the fruitful years gone by, achieving both the expected and unexpected, while setting various milestones and then synergizing ourselves to move ahead to face the challenges in the coming year with a positive attitude. I. H. Bhatia Pre – Primary school was establishes in the year 1985 with the point of providing Education in English Language to the children of society. We thank the almighty God for all the blessings bestowed upon us year after year.
Amis and Objectives of the school are
  1. To impart all round development of students.
  2. To provide facilities to student to learn their mother tongue along with English Language.
  3. To help students to gain confidence necessary to face different situations in day to day life.
  4. To provide first hand experiential learning to students.
  5. To help every student to grow and develop according to their own potential.
  6. To provide learning atmosphere with moral and ethical values.
  7. To Co-ordinate traditional values along with present technologies.
  8. To encourage students to develop positive self – esteem.
  9. To enable teaching with multi-sensory and varied learning style approach.
  10.  To work in partnership with student’s parents to promote growth and development of the child.
The focus of the school is on holistic development of every student, we also believe in total transparency in our working. Election of the P.T.A members are held in the month of June. Van committee is also set up for smooth transition of children from home to school and vice versa.
We celebrate Independence day, Rakshabandhan, Janmastami. Ganesh festival, Navratri, Diwali, Christmas, Makar Sankrant with Haldi Kumkum. Self-explanatory projects are set up for children along with assembly where children perform as per the celebration. This is introduced with the point of view of cultural learning for children.
World Photography Day is discussed with live demonstration of varieties of cameras and picture clicking in each class. Children’s Day is also celebrated with fun games for children. World Peace Day, Navy and Army Day are also explained and videos are shown to children.
Fancy Dress with talk are organized for children to promote Language Skills and overcome stage fear. Outdoor experiential learning is given importance with first hand experiences.
School organizes Educational field trips for Nursery, Jr. Kg. and children as per their level of understanding. These were at places like Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, Nehru Science Center, Rotary Garden, Under the Flyover, Taraporewala Aquarium, Maheshwari Udhyan, Matunga Gymkhana, Five Gardens with Yoga Sessions and many more. Prangan Outdoor Play area, Nursing Hospital, Beauty Parlour, Gandhi Center at Dr. B. M. N. College of Home Science were also visited by children.
Annual sports events are organized where each child is given a medal and a token of appreciation. 350 children from Nursery to Sr. Kg. participates in various Motor, Physical, Intellectual skill oriented games for 3 days.
Teachers attend International Conference and seminar at National levels with various training programmes to update themselves with current trends. Yearly picnic or team building events are also a part of our yearly school schedules.
Pottery, Fun with Computers, Physical Activities, Water play, Ball Pool, Outdoor garden, Group games, Audio Visual theatre, Story Telling, Music, Dance are a part of our weekly curriculum to foster all round development of children.
Professor Ram Joshi Award for Outstanding Proficiency is given every academic year to each child from each class.
It has been great blessing to have a dedicated and talented team of teachers and students. We appreciate the whole hearted support by our P.T.A members and parents.
